What’s the job?
You will collaborate with the Business Analyst to ensure accuracy of Assistance and Claims Bordereau, including preparing payments, confirming claims, and reconciling reimbursements.
Review and verify Assistance payments before processing, following up on outstanding issues to ensure accuracy.
Maintain AP Recoverable in the accounting system — posting documents, rectifying entries, and reconciling the ledger with the control account monthly.
Work closely with the Finance Analyst to ensure timely billing of claims payments from insurance entities, including split billing for in-force and prospective policies.
Support smooth payment operations by establishing structured batch payment processes, avoiding duplication, and ensuring timely provider/intercompany payments.
Assist with cash flow management by optimizing accounts payable and providing analytical reviews of significant monthly/annual variances.
Maintain accurate and well-organized records, ensuring all supporting documents are available in soft copy.
Contribute to process improvements by reviewing workflows, drafting SOPs, and proposing efficiency enhancements.
Support SAP system implementation, including UAT testing and live production submissions.
What are we looking for?
You will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
Strong understanding of AP processes with proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Sharp attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
