Job Scope
Pre-Contract :
- Prepare, review, and coordinate tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, and Letters of Award (LOA).
- Assist in tender evaluation (technical & commercial) with the technical/operations team.
- Review Bills of Quantities (BQ), scope of work, and specifications to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Support the Contract Manager in negotiations on pricing, payment terms, contract duration, and technical requirements.
- Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare cost analysis reports and vendor recommendations for management approval.
Post-Contract :
- Monitor contract implementation and service delivery in accordance with KPIs and SLAs.
- Review progress claims, Variation Orders (VO), Extension of Time (EOT) requests, and final accounts prior to approval.
- Ensure contractor compliance with contract terms, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare contract status reports and risk assessments for management review.
- Assist in contract renewal, termination, dispute resolution, and claims management.
- Act as a liaison between vendors, operations team, and management for contract-related matters.
Other Responsibilities:
- Support cost control and budget monitoring for facility management projects.
- Maintain proper documentation and contract records for internal/external audits.
- Assist in process improvement for procurement and contract governance.
- Conduct market research on vendor pricing and industry benchmarking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement/contract management, preferably within Facility Management or construction.
- Knowledge of tendering procedures, procurement regulations, and contract law.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Candidates with government/GLC tender experience will have an added advantage.
