Overseas Industries Sdn Bhd, located in Tampoi, Johor is looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant Accountant and Administrator to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who have a strong foundation in accounting practices and possess excellent administrative capabilities.
Role Requirements:
· A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
· A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Proficient in managing full sets of accounts.
· A strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting principles, and practices.
· Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and local regulations
· Prepare and maintain office documents, reports and correspondence.
· Support office management with day-to-day administrative tasks, including document scanning, filing and data entry.
· Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collection.
· Capable of multitasking, staying motivated, and maintaining a positive attitude.
· Committed to working efficiently and with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Accounting Department.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, answering phones, and other tasks as needed.
- Manage communications with clients and vendors through phone, email, and in-person interactions when necessary.
- Handle financial transactions, issue checks, and assist with the upkeep of ledgers, budgets, and more.
- Maintain an organized and effective filing system.
