Key Objective
- The position and role shall handle work relating to agency applications and administration of the agency network.
- Compliance with prevailing Insurance Act 1996, Financial Services Act 2013, PIAM, Bank Negara guidelines and Chubb policies and procedures is expected.
Major duties and responsibilities
- Ensure agent’s recruitment, termination, suspension/ reinstatement, changes to registration, background credit checks, database maintenance and all system administration work involving agents (including backend and frontend systems and marketer retagging) are properly executed per company SOPs and SLAs, BNM guidelines and PIAM requirements.
- Provide periodic reporting to superior on latest position of agency network including termination and new recruitment status for purposes of senior management’s consumption.
- Engagement with companywide stakeholders as necessary towards efficient administration of the agency network.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) relating to agency in relation to administration, requisitions, reimbursements, and procurements are adhered to.
- Provide necessary support and act as first line response to enquiries by agents and the Agency team on company procedures and processes.
- Work with the rest of agency team to provide relevant support during events as directed by superior.
Skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel (Intermediate) and Outlook
- English Communication (Written and spoken)
- Knowledge of General Insurance guidelines and regulations
Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in general insurance
- Dealt with inter-department and multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ degree in any discipline ((Insurance, Business, Marketing, Finance or Communications preferred)
