Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead our finance operations within the dynamic food & beverage industry. This role is to focus on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and delivering timely reporting to support decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Management
- Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation).
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements.
- Develop budgets and forecasts; provide analysis of financial variances.
- Support the management team with financial insights for strategic decisions.
2. Cost Control & Inventory Oversight
- Track and manage food and beverage costs, identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure accurate stock valuation and reconciliation with POS and inventory
systems.
- Conduct periodic stock audits with outlet teams.
3. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with SST, corporate tax, and local statutory obligations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
- Maintain effective internal controls to prevent fraud or misreporting.
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor daily cash flow, payment schedules, and collections.
- Manage banking relationships and monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare CAPEX plans and financial models for new outlets or renovations.
5. Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead, coach, and supervise a small team of finance staff.
- Continuously enhance accounting systems and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and procurement teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Proficient in accounting software
Excel
- Strong understanding of Malaysian taxation, SST, and statutory reporting.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong leadership skills.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
