Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to support the financial operations of our F&B business. The ideal candidate will assist in managing accounting functions, maintaining financial accuracy, supporting reporting and compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day finance activities across outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Financial Operations
- Assist in overseeing the full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and verify daily sales reports, POS data, petty cash, and outlet collections.
- Handle supplier invoices, credit notes, and ensure timely payments.
2. Month-End Closing & Reporting
- Support in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Generate internal financial reports for management review.
3. Costing & Inventory Support
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) and assist in cost variance analysis.
- Coordinate with outlet teams for accurate inventory tracking and stock counts.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and reducing wastage.
4. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.
- Assist in tax filings, SST submissions, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors or tax consultants when required.
5. Team Support & Process Improvement
- Supervise junior finance staff or account assistants.
- Assist in improving internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., HR, Operations) on finance-related matters.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good knowledge of SST, payroll compliance, and Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
