Job Description:
- Perform month-end closing activities while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of subsidiaries’ financial records, including posting relevant journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management schedules, and various ad hoc reports for internal review.
- Handle monthly accounting entries and reconciliations for intercompany balances, accounts receivable, and other related balance sheet items.
- Conduct cash and bank reconciliations and maintain monthly cash flow analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in revenue recognition and prepare monthly business unit performance reports.
- Collaborate with the GSC Finance team to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely, compliant filing in accordance with statutory, management, and document retention policies.
- Serve as the key accounting contact for subsidiaries, working cross-functionally with other GSC teams to ensure accurate and timely transaction postings.
- Identify and assess internal control gaps, recommending and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Requirements:
- · At least 5 years of relevant experience in record to reporting area.
- Good computer skills especially in Excel.
- Fluent in written and spoken English & Chinese is an advantage.
- · Team player with good people and communication skills.
- Must possess good customer service skills.
- Able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines and hardworking.
- Results-oriented and detail-minded person.
- Good understanding of HKFRS and IFRS
- Highly motivated with ability to deal with ambiguities
