Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including processing staff expense claims and reimbursements.
- Prepare key accounting documents such as purchase orders, invoices, and payment vouchers using Xero.
- Drive the month-end and year-end closing processes, including bank reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and petty cash records.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Use SQL to query large datasets, perform in-depth financial analysis, and generate performance reports.
- Partner with various departments to provide data-driven insights and support their decision-making.
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary data and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software is preferred
- Strong, hands-on proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
