Lapasar is one of Malaysia's fastest-growing startups and a business-to-business (B2B) sector, focusing on providing procurement solutions. Lapasar Sdn Bhd's platform allows businesses to order various products, including office supplies, stationery, IT equipment, and other business-related materials. This platform typically aims to reduce the complexities of traditional procurement processes and create a more transparent, efficient purchasing experience. In 2018, Lapasar started as a B2B platform in the corporate segment. Our clients, such as Telekom Malaysia, PETRONAS, or Tenaga Nasional Berhad buy items for their daily operational needs (e.g., laptops, projectors, office furniture, etc.) from our platform. In 2020, the B2B platform was extended to serve Mom and Pop stores, whereby shops order their supplies (e.g., Milo, Nescafe, Red Bull, etc.) via our app/platform. Today, the FMCG Wholesale Segment is the key pillar of Lapasar’s business and growth. We aim to onboard 100,000+ mom-and-pop stores and restaurants across Malaysia onto our mobile app and make their daily ordering of stocks as easy and simple as Shopee or Lazada has made the experience in the consumer e-commerce space.
Job Scope
Logistics plays a critical role in the daily operations of the We are looking for a detail- oriented and proactive to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day logistics operations of our company. The ideal candidate will manage the movement of goods, ensure timely deliveries, optimize transportation and maintain communication with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain orderly warehouse operations.

Job Responsibilities
1. Handle shipping documentation: such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork for domestic deliveries.
2. Coordinate with vendors and transporters for delivery schedules and discrepancies.
3. delivery performance, transportation cost, and order accuracy to support data-driven decisions.
4. Ensure all outbound shipments are verified, documented, and dispatched with proper transport coordination.
5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in optimizing logistics procedures to reduce delays, errors, and costs.
6. Manage vendor and transporter relationships, including negotiation of rates, evaluation of service performance, and contract compliance.
7. Assist in budgeting and cost control related to logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and third-party logistics services.
Other responsibilities:
1. Ensure operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
2. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding operational challenges and improvements.
3. To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by the employer or any other person by or under OSHA 1994 or any regulation made there under (section 24: General duties of employees at work, OSHA 1994).
4. Responsible for taking care of company assets and ensuring all are in a good condition.
5. Strictly adhere to the Company Handbook and memo issued by Human Resources (HR). 6. Any additional tasks as assigned by the superior.
Requirements
1. SPM/Certificate/Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in daily Logistic operations
2. Previous experience in a similar position.
3. Strong working knowledge of Logistic operations and management.
Salary Range : RM RM 3,500.00 - RM 4000.00 ( can be negotiated )
Working hours & days : Monday to Friday : 9am to 6pm
Saturday : Half Day Lunch Hour : 1 hour
Sunday - Rest Day
