Job Scope:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Western dishes.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation according to the café’s standards.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food inventory and manage stock levels efficiently.
- Assist in developing and improving Western menu offerings, including seasonal specials.
- Innovate new dishes aligned with current food trends and customer preferences.
- Work closely with kitchen crew and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Train junior staff and monitor their performance.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure equipment is used properly and safely.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Western Chef or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Western cuisines (grilling, roasting, baking, etc.).
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen inventory and cost control.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
