Responsibilities:
- Perform production orders according to schedule and work instructions.
- Read and understand drawings.
- Determine required equipment, welding method, and welding techniques.
- Adjust valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain the desired flame or arc.
- Align components using calipers, rulers and etc…
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Remove rough spots from workpieces. Example: using grinders
- Inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances using calipers/precision measuring instruments.
- Follow blueprints/technical drawing to arrange metal pieces and temporarily fix them into position before welding/rivet.
- Perform equipment inspections prior to use and report any malfunctions/safety concerns.
- Follow all company policies and safety guidelines.
- Ensure line 5S.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned by the company’s management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least certificate, vocational certificate, Diploma in related field or equivalent.
- Fresh graduate or 1 year and above of working experience as welder
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG etc.) will be a plus
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
- Ability to read, interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Willing to work overtime when required

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
