Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Wedding & Event Planner to join our team at Geno Hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their wedding requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, floor plans, and vendor arrangements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Banquet, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless event execution.
- Liaise with external vendors such as florists, photographers, entertainers, and decorators.
- Manage budgets, prepare quotations, and track expenses for each event.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and oversee on-the-day event operations.
- Ensure events comply with hotel standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
- Handle any challenges or last-minute changes promptly and professionally.
- Maintain post-event communication for feedback and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wedding Planner or Event Coordinator in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From RM4,500.00 per month
