We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Arts Assistant to join our team. This role supports our arts education programmes and helps ensure a rich, creative experience for all students.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with classroom teachers and staff to support student learning in arts-related subjects.
- Support individual students and small groups during class activities, under teacher supervision.
- Help manage whole-class activities, including setting up art materials and resources.
- Assist with student supervision, both in class and during school events or outings.
- Help teachers with preparing materials, clerical work (e.g. filing, photocopying), and managing resources.
- Set up and operate classroom technology like audio-visual and ICT equipment.
- Take photos or videos of classroom activities for digital portfolios.
- Support school events (e.g. assemblies, productions, exhibitions) by helping with setup, coordination, and assistance during the event.
- Maintain and manage inventory of art supplies, musical instruments, and other equipment, organising repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Help organise and install exhibits for major art events, such as the annual art exhibition.
Additional Duties:
- Supervise students during after-school programs, in the playground, or in other assigned areas.
- Occasionally supervise a whole class when requested by the teacher or Principal.
- Perform general office duties as needed.
- Follow school policies, maintain confidentiality, and respect data protection rules.
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager or Principal.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in arts, education, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a school setting.
- Experience working with young children.
- Strong interest or background in the arts.
- Basic understanding of education policies and school environments.
- Willingness to work at Sierramas, Sungai Buloh
