Key Responsibilities
- Able to work with small animals (cats and dogs) comfortably and treat them with empathy and care.
- Being diligent and getting tasks for the day completed on time (time management is crucial as patients need their meds on time).
- Being able to collect samples from patients (blood, fecal, urine) as requested by vets (you will be trained on how to do the sample collection before you’re allowed to do them independently).
- Being able to assist Veterinarian in preparing medicine and subcutaneous fluids.
- Able to work Rotation Shift (day & night shift), weekends and Public Holidays (different wards and assist vets during consults).
- Daily duties shall include:
- Rounds/discussion being done with nurse’s team daily on admitted patients to ensure the nurse is aware of every case present in the respective wards for the day.
- Provide animal nursing care for sick / warded patients.
- Maintain the hygiene of ward areas.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Medical nursing / Zoological Science /Animal Healthcare or any science or biology related field or possess working experience as Veterinary Assistant.
- Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
- Experience in handling animals would be preferred.
- Fresh graduates are or those without required qualifications but have the relevant working experience in a hospital environment are welcomed to apply.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
