Objective:
To provide prompt and courteous valet parking services by safely parking, retrieving, and handling customer vehicles, while maintaining high service standards and ensuring the security of all vehicles and keys.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Customer Service & Frontline Duties
- Greet customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner upon arrival.
- Open vehicle doors and assist passengers if required, especially VIPs or elderly customers.
- Provide valet ticket and explain retrieval process clearly.
- Respond to basic customer inquiries or requests courteously and escalate issues if needed.
- Maintain a presentable appearance and positive attitude at all times.
2. Safe Driving & Vehicle Handling
- Safely drive, park, and retrieve customers’ vehicles in designated valet zones or parking lots.
- Observe proper driving practices, including speed limits and cautious maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Conduct a visual check for any existing damage on vehicles and report to supervisor if necessary.
- Return vehicles to customers in the same condition as received, with proper handover.
- Follow secure key-handling procedures at all times.
3. Key & Vehicle Security
- Ensure all keys are tagged and placed in the correct key cabinet slots.
- Do not leave vehicles running or unlocked while unattended.
- Assist in maintaining the key log or valet system updates as required.
- Immediately report any lost keys, incorrect key tags, or suspected damage or theft.
4. Site Support & Cleanliness
- Keep valet counter, booth, and surrounding areas clean and clutter-free.
- Arrange traffic cones, signage, and queue lines according to site layout.
- Assist in managing traffic during peak hours, events, or congested periods.
- Alert supervisor of any faulty valet system, signage, or site hazards.
5. Shift Handover & Reporting
- Assist in shift opening/closing procedures including equipment checks and handovers.
- Record any incidents, customer complaints, or vehicle irregularities in the logbook.
- Provide updates to Valet Executive or supervisor regarding any unresolved issues.
- Follow all instructions given during shift briefing or management communication.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
