Job Title: UAT Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced UAT Tester with hands-on experience in Loan Origination Systems (LOS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing user acceptance testing across various lending products, ensuring that the LOS meets business requirements, regulatory standards, and usability expectations. This role will work closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, and QA teams to validate end-to-end loan processing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users and analysts to understand LOS requirements and define UAT scope.
• Develop comprehensive UAT test cases and scenarios for retail/SME loan modules such as application intake, credit scoring, underwriting, approval, and disbursement.
• Perform end-to-end user acceptance testing for LOS including integrations with core banking, credit bureaus, KYC/AML services, and document management systems.
• Identify, document, and track UAT issues, discrepancies, and bugs in tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
• Validate regulatory compliance and audit-related workflows during UAT cycles.
• Conduct regression testing and participate in defect triage meetings with QA and development teams.
• Work with business stakeholders to obtain UAT sign-offs and support go-live readiness.
• Provide post-UAT support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of LOS changes.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in UAT or software testing roles.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in testing Loan Origination Systems in a banking or financial services environment.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of LOS workflows and lending lifecycle (from customer onboarding to disbursement).
• Proficient in writing test cases, defect logging, and execution tracking.
• Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in testing LOS products like Finacle LOS, Temenos, Flexcube, or other proprietary systems.
• Exposure to digital lending platforms, mobile banking apps, or online loan application portals.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent testing certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
