The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, banking, and financial risks. This role ensures the business has enough funds for operations, handles banking relationships, and supports financial planning.

Job Scope:
Cash & Liquidity Management
- Monitor and manage the company’s daily cash flow and liquidity needs.
- Ensure optimal cash utilization by forecasting short-term and long-term cash requirements.
- Implement strategies to enhance cash conversion cycles, including receivables and payables management.
Banking & Financing
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favourable financing terms.
- Oversee trade finance, including leers of credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and hedging instruments.
- Evaluate and negotiate credit facilities, loans, and other funding sources to support business operations.
Foreign Exchange & Risk Management
- Assess and manage foreign exchange (FX) exposures due to raw material imports and product exports.
- Implement hedging strategies to minimize currency risks whenever applicable.
- Monitor commodity price fluctuations and recommend strategies to mitigate financial exposure.
Treasury Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, banking covenants, and internal policies.
- Work closely with auditors, tax authorise, and regulators on treasury-related matters.
- Implement best practices and automation to improve treasury efficiency.
Investment & Capital Allocation
- Optimize capital structure and recommend investment strategies for surplus funds.
- Evaluate and manage short-term and long-term investment opportunities aligned with company objectives.
Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Provide regular treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, debt positions, and risk exposures.
- Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Support management with insights on interest rates, FX trends, and economic outlook.
Requirement:
- Degree in Accounting & Finance or related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, reporting skills, corporate finance, problem solving, financial planning and strategy and possess knowledge of MS Office.
- At least 10 - 12 years of treasury or corporate finance experience, preferably in the manufacturing or oleochemical industry.
