Job Descriptions:
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the work site using signs, signals, or hand movements.
- Ensure all traffic management equipment (signage, cones, barriers) is correctly placed and maintained.
- Monitor traffic conditions and report any issues or incidents.
- Ensure all activities comply with company and statutory safety standards (e.g. DOSH/JKKP, CIDB).
- Stop traffic in emergency situations and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel, heavy machinery operators, and drivers to coordinate movements.
- Relay instructions from the supervisor to drivers or subcontractors.
- Maintain daily traffic control logs and incident records.
- Report any unsafe acts or near-miss incidents to the Safety Officer or Site Supervisor.
- Inspect traffic control equipment before and after shifts.
- Ensure equipment is returned, stored properly, and in good working condition.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent
- Valid CIDB Green Card (preferred)
- Prior experience as a Traffic Controller or similar role in construction is an advantage
- Knowledge of traffic safety regulations and procedures
Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
