In this role, you will be part of Malaysia TikTok Shop Category & Merchant Strategy's function, involved in leading initiatives that unlock growth and improve overall business performance.
You will work closely with local commercial teams and regional stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities, design and execute cross-functional projects, and optimize commercial processes. Additionally, you will have a deep understanding of marketing, business development, and other commercial objectives, enabling continuous optimization of strategies, designs, reporting, and planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Identify function or product gaps and initiate strategic initiatives to drive business improvement and transformation
- Design and execute initiatives using structured analytical and problem-solving frameworks to enhance customer and partner experiences
- Manage end-to-end project delivery: from concept and feasibility to implementation and operational readiness.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to generate insights and support decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with local and regional teams to align on goals and ensure smooth execution
- Develop commercial strategies across marketing, business development, and seller/brand management
- Continuously optimize business strategies, reporting frameworks, and planning processes
- Drive tangible impact with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
