The Food Safety supervisor is expected to take active participation on the continuous improvement of cleaning, sanitation, basic maintenance, foreign bodies defense system, pest management, root cause analysis and training evaluation of the team, and audit (customer and 3rd party). The role will also responsible for overarching plant QA systems and program, including plant documentation control.
Drive and support the Implementation of food safety, religious and sustainability standards
Document handling of HACCP, Barry Callebaut, GSFI, religious, sustainability and customer standards and procedures.
- Support in customer and third party audits.
- Follow up corrective actions and verify effectiveness of implemented measures.
- Ensure training of local staff Refresher Training .
- Ensure implementation of Pest Management & Foreign body prevention program.
Drive implementation and maintenance of quality systems
- Ensure the implementation of documentation control.
- Assist Carry out trend analysis and statistical data review to develop improvement plans.
Project Management
- Understand, review and provide feedback & document update of projects on management systems (eg HACCP, FSSC 22000, PEM, Sustainability standards).
- Participate at meetings effectively, liaise with stakeholders and communicate and interact actively with all functions.
Qualification
Education
- Minimum possess Diploma or Bachelor degree of Microbiology / Biology / Chemical / Chemical Engineering / Food Technologist or similar.
- Fluent in English is required.
Experience
- Fresh graduates encouraged to apply .
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety in an international food, pharmaceutical or food company.
Knowledge or specific business understanding
- Understand the production process flow
- Good analytical and systematical thinking
- Strong understanding on problem solving tools
- Good Communication skill
