Job description
1. This position will lead all powder coat department employees and assist in inventorying parts and tracking paint usage.
2. Accurately complete production paperwork and labor reporting.
3. Lead will ensure all required maintenance is performed on all paint department equipment.
4. Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly department and ensure all employees are wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
5. Assist with production and scheduling.
6. Assist plan execution of production work orders, gathers required tools and materials, and follows instructions and paint specifications required for the job.
7. Operate all coating equipment including guns, pumps agitators and booth filtration systems.
8. Observe prep process, cleaning process, powder application and curing processes to defects and apply corrective action.
9. Knowledge of setting to coatings, wash, and per-treatments.
10. Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the coating department.
11. Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.
12. Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of painting equipment.
13. Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
14. To perform any other jobs or duties as and when required by the superior.
Minimum Skills
· Background in powder coating and industrial painting.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently.
· Must have excellent leadership skills.
· Must be able to motivate and encourage team members.
· 2-3 years paint application experience required.
· Diploma / SPM holders or any certificate in related field.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
