Job Summary
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure the production of high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner. They work as part of a team and follow established procedures and guidelines to meet production and organization goals.
Job Responsibilities

- Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, such as assembly machines, conveyor systems, or robotic systems, to ensure that they are functioning properly and meeting production targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of machinery and equipment. Identify and report any issues or malfunctions that require repair or maintenance.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks and inspections of products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, making adjustments or performing minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and work with the manufacturing team to implement changes that enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment, following safety guidelines, and participating in safety training programs. Report any safety concerns or incidents.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment operations, maintenance activities, and quality control checks. Complete production logs and reports as required.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the manufacturing team, including engineers, operators, and quality control personnel, to achieve production goals and resolve production issues.
- Material Handling: Manage the supply of raw materials and components required for the manufacturing process, ensuring that materials are available as needed and that inventory levels are maintained.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the manufacturing process complies with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Training and Development: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, equipment, and technologies through ongoing training and professional development.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Basic computer literacy and skills for data entry and equipment control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding, manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
