JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaboratively plan with the Engineers and/or Supervisors on the maintenance work required. Clarify the purpose and scope of maintenance and ensure that the materials, tools, expertise and other resources required to complete the task is available.
- Complete the maintenance and/or repair work within the specified time frame using the resources required to achieve or exceed the quality of the outcome expected.
- Perform independent inspection / review of work completed (e.g. all bolts and screws are tightened) to deliver quality outcome.
- Support in Engineers and/or Supervisors to diagnose and/or inspect the scope of repair work request and report findings rapidly to assist them to identify the root cause of the issue.
- Where possible apply experience and knowledge of the machine, do a preliminary assessment of the scope of the repair, parts and components required, time required to complete repair, once the root cause has been confirmed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma/ Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Machinery and Equipment Engineering
- Minimum 1 years working experience as a practitioner in manufacturing or related field, applicable for Certificate holders.
- Strong leadership skills, independent with self drive, result orientated, good problem solving and reporting skills, analytical skills, critical thinking skills and good communication skills.
