- Facilitate communication between regional suppliers and global engineering team including participating in online meetings with a range of time zones for interpretation and translation.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication regarding expectations, deliverables, and performance while tracking current status & timelines of supplier contracts & purchase orders and escalate any schedule conflicts to management.
- Facilitate cost / quote negotiations.
- Escalate project risks and issues that could impact projects and carry out response plans determined by management.
- Create reports and status updates on project information and present to upper management.
- Attend project & staff update meetings to gather information.
- Support Engineering development in all aspects including but not limited to purchase order entry.
- Coordinate with quality & compliance groups to ensure suppliers adhere to company vendor standards.
Requirements :
- Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills
- Organizational & time management abilities
- Familiar with business practices in the Asia Pacific, including Vietnam and China
- Fluent in MS Office (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- A basic understanding of product and manufacturing terms
- Ability to multi-task
- Familiar with business practices in the Asia Pacific including Korea and the United States.
- Be able to deal with ambiguity.
