Key Responsibilities :
1. To meet production plan target dates with the required quality level.
- Must meet production plan target dates with the required quality level.
- Must request Production Manager on timely basis to provide everything necessary for the normal course of the production process, in order to meet production target dates with the required quality level
2. To train operators on the correct seats assembly process and standard work sequence
- Must know well assembly process and standard work sequence at each station of the team and to be able to work himself at each station of the team.
- Must know well critical quality elements of assembly process and to able to explain them to operators.
- Must ensure his/her team is able to perform standard work in the time period of established Takt Time.
- Must be able to explain and train operators the standard work process, based in TJI method.
3. To do regular checks of operator standard work. In case of operator deviations from standard work, to conduct additional training to operator and then to do additional check of his/her standard work later on same shift.
- Must know check method of operator standard work.
- Must be able to evaluate operator standard work performance and to keep records of operator’s performance results.
- Must be able to correctly explain operators their mistakes in doing standard work.
4. To get information from operators on any problems, difficulties or complexity in doing their work.
- Must be able to have good communication with operators, to build relationships with operators for a free dialogue, to be able to listen to their ideas and proposals.
- Must be able to evaluate correctly operator’s opinions and proposals.
- Must be able to correctly answer to operator’s opinions and proposals, not to reject valuable opinions and proposals.
5. To inform Production Manager timely on problem occurred.
- Must be able to evaluate, if there is necessity to inform Production Manager on the problem.
- Must be able to evaluate correctly the seriousness of the problem.
- Must substitute the operator on his/her work place in case of his/her absence during the shift.
6. To check operators presence at their work places before shift start.
- Must know operators planned vacation dates.
- Must appoint his/her substitute person (deputy) during his/her vacation.
- Must be able to prepare each station of his team for work, before shift start.
7. To maintain equipment and tools at his/her team station in order, properly functioning and tidy.
- Must know well regular equipment checks system, and also to explain it to operators.
- Must be able to check correctly equipment and tools condition, and also to train operators to do it.
- In case of equipment/tools malfunction, must inform immediately Production Manager and also specialist responsible for equipment/tools maintenance.
8. To control safety standards and established operator safety rules.
- Must regularly check if there is danger to operator safety and if operators are doing work in unsafe conditions.
- Must be able to eliminate problems of unsafe conditions for operators.
9. To react to operator notification on problems occurred when they occur on the station.
- Must go to the station and evaluate the problem condition, when operator informs on the problem.
- Must be able to undertake actions, necessary to resolve the problem, and to inform Production Manager.
Competency Level Requirements :
- Min SPM
- 2 year experience in related field.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
