Our mission is to nurture confident, resilient swimmers across all skill levels through structured, supportive coaching.
Job Summary:
As a Swimming Coach at MSL Swimming Academy, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, safe, and skill-based swimming lessons. You will be expected to operate with professionalism across multiple branch locations, sometimes independently, while maintaining our high coaching and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured swimming lessons according to MSL’s teaching framework for various age groups and skill levels.
- Cover coaching sessions at other MSL branches with minimal supervision, ensuring consistency in teaching quality and safety.
- Adhere strictly to MSL’s safety policies, emergency procedures, and pool regulations at all times.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Track student attendance and progress, and provide feedback to parents or guardians when necessary.
- Prepare teaching equipment before lessons and ensure proper storage after sessions.
- Report facility, safety, or behavioral concerns promptly to the management team.
- Represent MSL Swimming Academy in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Assist in external coaching services where relevant (e.g., school partnerships).
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and seasonal planning as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and travel to various branches when needed.
- Excellent communication, time management, and people skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on schedule and location needs.
Desirable:
- Lifeguard qualification.
- Experience with competitive or developmental swim programs.
- Bilingual (English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin) is an added advantage.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
