Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage the receipt, storage, documentation, and distribution of inventory and materials, ensuring compliance with procurement standards, inventory control policies, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Goods Receipt & Inspection
- Retrieve the store’s copy of the Purchase Order (PO) and inspect delivered goods to verify that quantity, specifications, and quality match the PO.
- Stamp and sign the Delivery Order (DO) to confirm acceptance of goods.
- Accept only goods procured through the Procurement Unit, ensuring compliance with PO specifications.
- Complete the Incoming Material Inspection Report (IMIR) for each delivery.
2. Documentation & Communication
- Email the DO, Invoice, and related documents to the Project Team for Goods Receipt Note (GRN) processing.
- Coordinate for reversing GRNs when necessary, indicating the reason for rejection and coordinating return of goods to suppliers through email notifications.
3. Inventory Management & Custodianship
- Ensure proper and safe storage of all inventories; organize items by classification regardless of size or source.
4. Stock Control & Issuance
- Apply the “First In, First Out” (FIFO) principle, especially for items subject to deterioration or expiry.
5. Stock Counts & Adjustments
- Support and participate in ad hoc and annual stock counts led by the Finance department.
- Prepare and submit reconciliation reports for any stock discrepancies and ensure timely adjustments in inventory records.
6. Slow-Moving & Obsolete Items
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete items at least once a year and coordinate with Local and Global Finance for disposal or reallocation.
7. Delivery / Collection
- Arrange for the delivery and collection of goods based on project requirements.
- Oversee loading and unloading activities to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Prepare Packing Lists (PL) and Delivery Orders (DO), ensuring all items are properly packed and dispatched according to documentation.
8. General Coordination
- Collaborate with the Purchasing and Project teams to fulfill site requirements efficiently.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in inventory or warehouse operations.
- Working knowledge of inventory systems (SAP preferred) and established stock control procedures.
- Strong understanding of procurement, goods receipt, and documentation processes.
- Ability to perform accurate inspections and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and best practices.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
