Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for NAND flash memory test program development, failure analysis and device issue debug;
- Responsible for NAND Product and Package Qualification/Reliability tests setup/eFA/Action Plan;
- Providing correct test condition for the memory product and generate defined test flow for volume testing needs;
- Product Evaluation DOE for Reliability/DPPM improvement and wafer level Yield improvement;
- Run the test time analysis to get a lowest cost test method in order to reach short test time and high testing coverage;
- Define/improve testing method to deal with new product introduced to mass production and marketing;
- Deliver a world class throughput time on the testing code development to reach the most effective way of sample delivery TPT (Through Put Time);
- Work with multinational team to complete assigned projects in PDT (product development team) required time.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor degree or higher in electronic, microelectronics, electrical engineering, communication or related
- Minimum 2 years semiconductor experience
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to clearly communicate and document findings
- Programming experience, preferably C, C++ and Perl tester language
- An understanding of MMC, SATA, USB or PCIE controller protocols and architectures - including datasheet specs, timings, etc.
- A basic background in NAND flash operation, including data sheet knowledge of specifications and timings, etc.Experience with NAND and/or Controller debug and testing
- Willingness to travel abroad for short periods
PREFERRED:
- 3D NAND production experience, and also EFA/PFA experience.
- Experience in Automatic Test Equipment platforms code development (for example, Advantest, Verigy/Agilent 93000, Credence, LTX, Teradyne, etc.)
SKILLS:
- Sound knowledge on semiconductor design and device physics, manufacture and verification of SOC or ASIC validation processes.
- Experience in using Automatic Test Equipment platforms (for example, Advantest/Agilent 93000, Credence, LTX, Teradyne), especially in high speed mixed-signal and RF applications.
- Coding proficiency in C, Java, with extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux development environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills:
- Experience in SATA/SAS/PCIe/eMMC/UFS protocols, NAND/NOR flash devices, ARM/AXI/AHB, encryption/decryption, memory controller, error management, and power management.
- Excellent English written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Be responsible for developing complete test solutions across the IC product lifecycle, for functional and parametric validation of device sensor performance.
- Collaborate with Design/Engineering teams on designing product specifications and implementing pre and post silicon validations.
- Excellent English written, verbal and presentation skills.
