Job Description
1. Project Planning:
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project scope, timelines,
- and specific requirements.
- Develop a site-specific plan, including resource allocation, schedules, and coordination with subcontractors.
2. Site Preparation:
- Conduct site assessments to identify potential challenges and plan for
- equipment placement.
- Ensure that the site is prepared and meets safety and environmental standards.
3. Installation Oversight:
- Supervise the installation of solar panels, inverters, and other system
- components.
- Ensure that work is conducted according to engineering drawings and project specifications.
4. Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the
- reliability and performance of the solar energy system.
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify and address any installation issues.
5. Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote a strong safety culture at the worksite.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure that all personnel adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
6. Team Management:
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the installation team, including
- subcontractors.
- Provide guidance and training to ensure that team members perform tasks effectively and safely.
7. Material Management:
- Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment at the
- site.
- Keep track of inventory and order additional materials as needed.8.
8. Communication
- Maintain regular communication with project managers, clients, and
- subcontractors.
- Report progress, challenges, and solutions in a timely manner.9.
9. Documentation
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including installation progress,
- inspections, and any issues encountered.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for project documentation and closeout.
10. Troubleshooting:
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during
- installation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to find and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Certificate of Electrical
- Engineering/Renewable Energy or equivalent.
- Additional Advantage: Candidates with PW2/PW4 certification will be prioritized.
- Required Skills: Microsoft Office
- Required languages: English, Bahasa Melayu.
- Able to work independently at the project site.
- Ability to work extra and flexible hours, tight schedule & outstation.
- Competent in reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks, combined with highly disciplined approach is crucial for success in this role.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
Experience:
- Electrical engineering: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- PW2/PW4 certification (Required)
