Job description:
- Location : Site Pasir Gudang, Johor
- Working day & hour : Monday - Saturday (8.00am - 5.00pm)
- Valid CIDB Green Card
- Supervise daily site activities for surface preparation (blasting) and protective coating (painting).
- Ensure all work is executed in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, safety, and project management teams.
- Monitor manpower, equipment, and material usage on-site.
- Plan work schedules and allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors.
- Maintain records of work progress, incidents, and inspections.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports to management, detailing manpower, activities performed, equipment used, and any issues or delays.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Inspect surface profiles, cleanliness, DFT (Dry Film Thickness), environmental conditions, etc., with QA team.
- Liaise with clients and inspectors as needed during site visits or audits.
- Ensure blasting and painting procedures (e.g., SSPC/NACE/ISO standards) are properly followed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in blasting and painting supervision.
- Strong knowledge of industrial coating systems, surface preparation standards
- Familiar with quality control procedures and inspection processes.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- Able to work immediately
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
