-Price/forecast cost of the different materials needed for the project.
-Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation. Review plans and identify potential issues and cost and resource needs.
-Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly. Strong attention to detail to ensure all costs and measurements are accurate.
-Procure or agree on the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the project's construction. Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
-Measure and value the work done on-site. A solid understanding of construction techniques and materials, as well as building regulatory requirements. Develop creative solutions to resolve issues that arise during the building process.
-Monthly progress claims and monthly progress reports.
-Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers. Possess strong negotiation skills to ensure project budgets are met and contractual obligations are upheld.
-Select and/or source construction materials
-Frequent traveling from the office to various project sites.
-Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution.
-Independent, highly motivated and a good team player.
-Min 2 years experience is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
