- Handle full spectrum of shipping operations (import, export, local deliveries).
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms (K1, K2, etc.).
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs officers to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian customs regulations and import/export laws.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely deliveries to customers or warehouses.
- Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams for smooth logistics flow.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delivery issues, and damages promptly.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update management on shipment status.
- Optimize shipping processes and suggest cost-saving measures.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping or logistics operations.
- Good knowledge of Incoterms, Malaysian customs procedures, and relevant documentation.
- Familiar with freight booking, customs clearance, and third-party logistics (3PL).
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/logistics systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage (for liaising with China suppliers/forwarders).
