Position: Service Crew (Part-Time / Full-Time)
We’re looking for friendly, responsible, and hands-on individuals to join our small café team as Part-Time / Full Time Service Crew. At Thread & Brew, we believe in working together — all team members rotate shifts and help each other across tasks, whether it’s making drinks, wiping tables, or mopping the floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Prep: Prepare hot & cold drinks including coffee, tea, and specialty café beverages
- Bar & Equipment Handling: Operate espresso machines, milk frother, and basic café tools
- Customer Service: Take orders, serve with warmth, upsell when needed
- Cleaning Duties: Clean coffee bar, seating area, kitchen floor, toilet (rotation), and other café zones
- Food Handling: Assist with heating, plating, and serving light meals and pastries
- Cashier Duties: Handle basic transactions (cashless & QR preferred)
- Setup & Close: All staff will be rotated between opening and closing duties, and are expected to support daily setup and shutdown
Requirements:
- Min 1 year experience in F&B, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Understands written and spoken English & Bahasa Melayu
- Punctual, responsible, clean, and a team player
- Open to learning barista and basic food-handling tasks
- Must be willing to do rotational shifts including weekends & holidays
- Comfortable with cleaning duties and shared café responsibilities
- Own transport preferred
- Malaysian citizen only
Job Type:
- Part-Time (option to convert to full-time later)
- Shifts rotate between: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Weekends
- Must be available at least 3–4 shifts per week
Salary:
- RM8.72/hour (Part-Time)
- RM1,700/month (Full-Time)
- Overtime & Public Holiday Pay included
