Senior / Software Engineer

Join SEEK's Workload Hosting team and help build our cutting-edge internal developer platform that's transforming how software gets shipped across one of Australia's most innovative tech companies.
What You'll Do
Build the Platform That Powers Everything
- Architect and scale Kubernetes-based solutions that serve SEEK's entire engineering organization
- Lead automation initiatives using Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows with Argo CD
- Design cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code practices that make deployment seamless and reliable
What We're Looking For
- Kubernetes Expert: Deep experience with container orchestration, microservices, and cloud-native architecture
- Automation Enthusiast: Proficiency with GitOps, Argo CD, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud Native: Strong background with major cloud providers and their managed services
- Quality Focused: Solid software engineering fundamentals with emphasis on testing and design patterns
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and passion for mentoring others

Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Kubernetes & Containers: Expert-level Kubernetes management, Docker containerization, and microservices architecture
- Cloud Platforms: Proficient with AWS/Azure/GCP and their managed Kubernetes services
- GitOps & Automation: Strong experience with Argo CD, GitOps workflows, Helm, and Terraform
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools (Buildkite, Jenkins, etc.)
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Advanced IaC skills for scalable infrastructure automation
- Software Engineering: Solid coding fundamentals, design patterns, and testing practices
