Summary :
You are responsible for direct supervision of security personnel at a Micron site. These personnel may be Micron Team Members or contracted security staff. The Security Supervisor works with the appropriate Country Security Manager. Provide some educational information for other team members on processes and steps to be followed. Local security programs, intended to reduce the risk to Micron personnel and assets include access control, loss prevention, workplace violence prevention, intelligence gathering, threat analysis, countermeasure deployment, alarm point and closed-circuit television applications, risk assessment, and investigations.
In addition, the Security Supervisor is intended to serve as the principal security resource to the Site, leads and supervises performance of security officers on duty and activates additional resource support under changing operational conditions. You are to coordinate security systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with Company directives, guidelines, and the law.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the implementation of Micron Security Standards & Guidelines
- Use established protocols to minimize occurrences of Loss Prevention
- Coordinate badge access to guard against unauthorized intrusion to Micron premises
- Access control management to manage pedestrian and vehicular traffic
- Conduct monitoring through the use of installed surveillance systems
- Ensure subordinates and outsourced officers adhere to duty post and relief schedules
- Make changes to duty assignments based on operational or business needs
- Deliver appropriate support security service or support to other functional groups using security best practices as a guide
- Participate in the development of global security policies
- Establish and manage positive relationships with key internal partners
- Establish and maintain good relationships with local law enforcement and security providers
- Conduct physical security risk assessments on a yearly basis and in alignment with corporate guidelines
- Consult Country Security Manager on investigations, as appropriate, in keeping with corporate requirements
- Supervise conformance of outsourced guards to security post orders (or contract expectations) by applying key performance indicators
- Supervise and ensure implementation and maintenance of a security personnel training program
- Maintain security systems and equipment to ensure effective operational resilience in the protection of Micron assets and ensure accurate reporting of malfunction for timely repair/replacement
- Coordinate general and emergency communication systems to include management of the Security Control Room, where applicable, and Lobby operations
Requirements :
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Security management (preferred) or Security related filed!
- Minimum 5 years on corporate working experience
- Knowledge in any Security systems, such as Lennel or access management systems
- Must be IT Savvy, Microsoft applications, mobile and other business-related services platforms.
- Creative and have passion in implementing innovative physical security solutions to solve exciting business problems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to work in a complementary team and challenging environment to achieve a common goal through effective teamwork and dedication.
- Required to provide operation support and rotational based on call support.
- Encouraged to operate across multiple areas, including warehouses, production floors, throughout the building/site.
- Applicant who demonstrated good project management skill and had exposure to security related activities such as ISO/ISMS audits and risk assessments.
- Experience with engaging government related agencies and external partners

- To engage with site leadership team on security updates, improvement projects and any other site related improvements or project executions
