Position Summary
The Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving the company’s overall sales growth across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading and motivating the sales team, managing key accounts, and ensuring operational excellence in all sales-related activities. The Sales Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen Minaz’s market presence and maintain its competitive advantage in the modest fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team by setting clear KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, ensuring effective execution of promotional campaigns, customer service excellence, and compliance with company SOPs.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to plan and implement product launches, campaigns, and events that drive sales growth and brand visibility.
- Manage product pricing, promotions, and discount structures to optimize profitability and maintain market competitiveness.
- Conduct sales forecasting, pipeline management, and budget planning while monitoring variances to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with key accounts, distributors, agents, VIP customers, and other strategic business partners.
- Design and implement customer loyalty, retention, and engagement programs to enhance customer lifetime value.
- Analyze sales performance data, customer purchasing behavior, and fashion industry trends to identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps.
- Benchmark competitors and evaluate market conditions to develop strategies that secure Minaz’s market leadership in the modest fashion segment.
- Coordinate with supply chain and merchandising teams to ensure effective stock management and prevent overstocking or stock-out issues.
- Represent the company at fashion shows, exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry networking events to build brand presence and capture new business opportunities.
- Introduce and implement new sales initiatives, technologies, and distribution methods to improve efficiency and market reach.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, highlighting performance achievements, risks, and corrective action plans for senior management.
- Expand the reseller, agent, and wholesale network to increase geographical coverage and revenue diversification.
- Support the company’s business expansion initiatives, including the opening of new outlets and market entry strategies both locally and internationally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (preferably in the fashion/retail industry).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, POS, and e-commerce platforms.
- Highly adaptable, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Employment Details
- Position Level: Managerial
- Location: HQ, Minaz Sdn Bhd
- Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience (inclusive of incentives & performance-based bonus)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with flexibility as required)
