Our client is a leading machinery parts supplier offering various engineering solutions in industrial automation and supplies for industrial combustion, waterworks, gears and motors
The Application and Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales strategies by combining technical knowledge with strategic sales execution, playing a key role in business development, client engagement, and revenue growth in the waterworks and infrastructure sectors. The role will be based in Puchong, Selangor
The Role:
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet or exceed company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets and emerging client segments.
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, and proposals that highlight the value of company solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations and successfully close high-value sales deals, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform business strategy.
- Work closely with internal team to deliver optimal solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Track sales performance, report KPIs, and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronic preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in sales or business development in engineering, preferably from the waterworks or infrastructure industries.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong persuasive communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Malay.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
