Responsibilities:
- To advise the employer on measures to be taken in the interests of safety and health of persons employed in the work place.
- To implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures on construction sites.
- To conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- To develop and deliver safety training programs for site personnel.
- To investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend preventive measures.
- To collaborate with project managers and contractors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
- To maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- To monitor the progress of construction projects and ensure compliance with construction safety regulations.
- To supervise construction workers and subcontractors and educate construction workers on site safety practices.
- To implement and monitor requirement outlined in the Safety and Health Plan and Emergency Response Plan.
Requirement:
- Possess a recognized degree or diploma certificate in any field.
- Have valid Safety and Health Officer (SHO) competency from DOSH.
- Have knowledge and experience in construction fields.
- Able to conduct high quality and detailed Risk Assessment e.g. HIRARC.
- Able to conduct high quality Incident Reporting and Investigation including the root cause analysis (RCA) and Human Factor Analysis.
- Have sound knowledge and technical skills on Project EHS Management, Environmental Management, Safe Work Practices program e.g. heavy lifting, working at height, confined space and others.
- Willing to travel and be relocated.
- Experience in supervising TNB substation projects is an added advantage.

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
