Position: Regional Finance Executive

Job Summary
Our client is a leading company in Malaysia’s security and cash management industry and is hiring a Regional Finance Executive to support their growing regional operations. This position is vital in ensuring sound financial management, compliance with accounting principles, and accurate financial reporting across assigned branches nationwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for core accounting tasks, petty cash control, financial analysis, and coordination of operational finance processes. This role involves a blend of hands-on accounting, troubleshooting finance issues, and periodic travel to regional offices.
Key Role & Responsibilities
· Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts.
· Assist in cost accounting activities, including classification and analysis of financial data.
· Prepare timely and accurate monthly reports and financial statements for management.
· Manage petty cash transactions, ensure accuracy in branch-level financial records, and troubleshoot operational issues.
· Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
· Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and clerks where applicable.
· Communicate with external parties such as vendors and suppliers to resolve financial queries.
· Support long-range financial forecasting, budgeting, and capital expenditure analysis.
· Travel to regional offices when required to assist or oversee local financial operations.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a multi-branch environment.
· Candidates with operational finance and petty cash handling experience are preferred.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel.
· Meticulous with high attention to detail.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
· Must possess a valid driving license and own transportation (Car / Motorbike)
· Must be willing and able to travel frequently.
· Proficiency in English language in both spoken and written is required.
Work Arrangements
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Work Mode: Fully on-site (no remote & no hybrid work)
Salary & Benefits
· Monthly Salary Range: RM2,800 – RM4,000 (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
· Annual Leave: Minimum 14 days
