Job Summary:

To ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and services while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, parts, and services in accordance with company requirements.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) to approved suppliers.
Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery.
Resolve any issues related to quality or late delivery with suppliers.
Coordinate with the warehouse and production team to manage inventory levels effectively.
Ensure procurement is aligned with production schedules and avoid overstocking or shortages.
Seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery dates, and supplier agreements.
Prepare procurement reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Collaborate with production, planning, quality control, and finance teams to ensure smooth procurement flow.
Communicate any material issues or delays that may affect production schedules.
Adhere to procurement policies, ethical sourcing practices, and company code of conduct.
Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted transparently and fairly.

Job Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years in a purchasing/procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Team-oriented with high integrity and sensitive to cost factor.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
