Requirements :-
- Must possess at least Diploma in related background.
- Have at least 1 year experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Autocount systems, MS Excel, Word, Power Point.
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on cost-benefit analysis.
- Knowledge of chemical markets, materials, or related regulations (preferred).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to secure optimal terms.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to drive informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, production, finance) to forecast demand and ensure timely availability of goods.
- Manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and address issues related to quality, shortages, or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory levels.
- Monitor and optimize inventory to minimize excess stock while preventing shortages for ongoing projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure the accuracy and quality of items received.
- Analyzing procurement costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
