Project Management Office Director

A* telecommunication infrastructure provider and solutions services to the local telecommunication players:*

· Responsible for leading the Project Management Office to ensure that all projects are aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

· Reporting to Exco pertaining to the project status in timely manner.

· Develop and implement the PMO strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

· Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring projects are prioritized, resourced, and aligned with business strategy.

· Establish and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and best practices across the organization.

· Define and enforce project governance frameworks, including project approval processes, reporting structures, and quality assurance.

· Lead and mentor a team of project managers and PMO staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to provide visibility into project status, risks, and outcomes.

· Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success and PMO effectiveness.

· Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring proactive problem-solving.

· Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, and skills development within the PMO.

· Facilitate training programs to enhance project management skills across the organization.

Qualifications:

· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

· 15+ years of experience in project management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within a PMO.

· Experience in telecommunication is preferred.

· PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is preferred.

· Good and effective communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range:

· RM20000 – RM25,000.00

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month

• telecommunication background: 5 years (Preferred)
