Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure that production targets, quality standards, safety protocols, and cost objectives are met. This role involves leading production staff, coordinating workflow, monitoring processes, and resolving operational issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities and workflow on the production floor.
- Ensure production schedules and targets are met with optimal efficiency and quality.
- Monitor staff performance, provide training, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE).
- Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and delays.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to improve production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory, attendance, and incidents.
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Prepare production reports and provide updates to management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
- Ability to work in shifts or flexible hours as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
