We are currently looking for a Manager/Supervisor to lead in the production and promotion of the building materials. Examples of projects using these materials and their special technique include the Syed al-Attas Mansion, Penang Northern Seawall and Fort Cornwallis.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the production team to meet operational and productivity targets
- Monitoring production processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Providing leadership, training, and performance management to production staff
- Collaborating with other departments to optimise workflow and resolve any issues
- Reporting on production metrics and recommending process improvements
- For Manager level, supporting effort to promote and develop the use of the materials and techniques
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience for Supervisor, and degree for Manager level
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of work experience for Manager
TYPE OF EXPERIENCE
- Significant experience as a Production Site Supervisor or similar role in construction material/construction
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate and develop a team (primarily foreign workers) to achieve operational targets
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
