Job Summary:
The Production Controller is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role works closely with the production team, procurement, inventory, and quality assurance to maintain optimal workflow and output levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor production workflow and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to production standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Track and report on production costs, efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (planning, logistics, engineering) to resolve issues or delays.
- Prepare production reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to production activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a production planning or control role (manufacturing preferred).
- Strong knowledge of production planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MRP/ERP systems).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
