A process technician oversees and optimizes manufacturing or industrial processes. They are responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production. Their role involves monitoring production, analyzing data, and implementing improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
Requirements:
- Technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Fresh graduates from polytechnic and technical college.
- Training will be provided.
- Willing to work shift and overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and Monitoring Equipment: Setting up, adjusting, and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and production output.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving process issues, including equipment malfunctions, using technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Process Optimization: Analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Quality Control: Monitoring process parameters, testing product quality, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent failures and ensure optimal functionality.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all safety rules and regulations in the workplace.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of production data, process parameters, and maintenance activities.
