Role Overview: As a Consultant in our Power Grids Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in guiding utilities through the energy transition. Your expertise will help clients modernize their power grids, integrate renewable energy sources, and enhance grid resilience. You will leverage your consulting skills to deliver innovative solutions that support sustainable and efficient energy systems. We are looking for candidates that can work on advisory projects in the following key areas (you don’t need to have experience in all areas)
Key focus areas:
- Energy Transition Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for utilities to transition to sustainable energy sources. Provide expert advice on integrating renewable energy, Grid resilience, and smart grid technologies.
- Grid Modernization: Lead projects focused on modernizing power grid infrastructure. Advise clients on upgrading grid components, enhancing grid reliability, and implementing advanced grid management systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure clients' projects comply with evolving regulatory requirements. Provide guidance on navigating regulatory landscapes and securing necessary approvals for energy transition initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with utility stakeholders. Understand their unique challenges and deliver customized solutions that drive value and support their energy transition goals.
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project risks effectively.

As a successful candidate you bring in:
- Bachelors or MSc in engineering, preferably with experience in power generation, transmission or distribution
- Knowledge and understanding of core technical areas of asset lifecycle management, power systems, or other relevant utility or industry experience
- Verbal and written communication in English (other languages are a plus)
- Interest and proven ability in leading projects, interacting with customers.
- Ability to organise and prioritise project work, support your project team to delivery and create a team spirit
