Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Power BI Developer to support PETRONAS on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI, transforming complex data into actionable insights that support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and SAP.
- Develop and optimize data models using Power Query (M) and DAX to ensure accurate and efficient reporting.
- Maintain report version control and document dashboard functionality.
- Ensure data security and user access control
- Support UAT, issue resolution, and user training as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum [2–5] years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (Desktop and Service), DAX, and Power Query.
- Experience working with SQL databases and integrating multiple data sources.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
