Job Description
The team
The Platform Administrator plays an integral role within the Marketing Technology team, aligning the platform's capabilities with the specific needs of marketing teams across APAC, supporting eight geographies. The overall objective is to improve our capabilities in managing multi-functional relationships with our customers and to become more sophisticated and targeted in how we engage with them.
About The Role
You'll be the technical backbone of our marketing technology stack, ensuring Customer Data Platform (CDP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Qualtrics run smoothly across eight APAC markets. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys tackling technical challenges, optimizing systems, and directly supporting marketing teams to engage customers more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep systems running: Maintain platform reliability and security through proactive monitoring, regular health checks, and risk mitigation
- Manage access and environments: Handle user permissions, sandbox governance, and ensure the right people have the right access at the right time
- Generate insights: Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud data to understand audiences and recommend campaign improvements
- Optimize customer experiences: Work with marketing teams to refine customer journeys, segmentation, and personalization strategies
- Integrate platforms: Support data flows between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Qualtrics, and other marketing tools
- Solve problems: Diagnose platform issues and coordinate with the team to implement solutions quickly
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience
- Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification.
- Hands-on experience configuring CDP, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Qualtrics
- Proficiency with Salesforce declarative tools (Process Builder, Flows, Validation Rules, etc.)
- SQL skills for data segmentation and querying in SFMC
- Experience building customer journeys using Journey Builder
- Ability to create reports and dashboards that generate actionable insights
- Understanding of customer segmentation and personalization strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with AMP script and Server-Side JavaScript
- Knowledge of APIs and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connector
- Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations
- Qualtrics experience management expertise
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills
This role is ideal for a junior-level professional looking to build expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Qualtrics while supporting critical marketing technology operations across multiple regions.
