- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver output, quality& cost as required by monthly production schedule & revenue.
- Achieve KPI’s:- average production hours per meter/set & flash outs, efficiency inventory turns, WIP, C/T reduction, process optimization/standardization etc.
- Lead direct reports in pursuit of Operational Excellence best practice while maintaining full 100% compliance with standards.
- Development & performance management operations team so that they deliver improved output, continuous improvement of value-adding processes aligned with business objectives, through clearly defined RREs.
- Engage and drive required outcomes through cross functional teams.
- Application of best available systems and technologies to enable the cost-effective attainment of the highest standards of Safety, Environment Quality, Production and Morale. Ensure compliance with all methodologies & systems implemented.
- Implement and drive lean manufacturing, waste reduction, OEE, smart factory and value-added processes.
- Manage the flow of operations door to door - fast, flexible and responsive.
- Ensure product is delivered on time without overtime and at minimum cost.
- Ensure that employee resources are deployed correctly & processes are defined.
- Identify labor cost savings as part of ongoing improvements/lean initiatives.
- Identify material cost savings as part of ongoing improvements/lean initiatives.
- Improve production output as part of ongoing improvements/lean initiatives.
- To set-up lines, machines and facilities as required by additional orders.
- Productivity Improvement
- Material control and smooth flow of production, improvement in inventory turns.
- Cost savings brought about by C/T reductions & operational improvements
- Improvement of skill level, performance & output of employee
- Adherence and improvement in Quality Standards
- Ensure production adherence to Vertiv’s QHSE & other policies.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA related to operations.
- Significant experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with production planning, quality control, and process optimization
